A local home school mom founded this group in July of 1999 as a home school co-op. In August of 2001 the venture changed and became a home school fellowship. By September of 2003 it became apparent that the group should metamorphous into the association we are now (thus our butterfly logo)! The name was changed to Lubbock Home School Association for the 2003-2004 school year.
Over the past years many families have come, gone or stayed. Find a group that meets your child’s needs and give the leaders your full support (whether it is this group or one of the many available). Efforts of the many volunteer leaders across the city will succeed if you participate in what is offered!
